Job description

Duininck Concrete, headquartered in West Central Minnesota, serves its clients as industry experts, providing guidance and support for projects of any scale.

This position will be based out of our portable plant in Abercrombie, ND

This position with Duininck Concrete offers the opportunity to join our portable crew as a trusted ready-mix driver responsible for delivering concrete to construction sites. Must be open to working at various job sites for extended periods (overnight travel required). We provide paid training on how to handle and deliver concrete safely and efficiently to customers. CDL Class A or B required. Must also have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

The Role:

  • Safely operate a ready-mix truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites.
  • Follow DOT requirements.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Follow instructions regarding the type and quantity of concrete to be delivered.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding any delivery updates or issues.
  • Provide customer service by interacting professionally at construction sites.
  • Ensure the proper handling and pouring of concrete to prevent spills or damage.
  • Maintain clean interior and exterior truck.
  • Assist with additional maintenance/cleaning duties in and around the plant location during down time
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Work Environment:

  • Lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Climb ladders and stairs.
  • Work in various weather conditions.
  • Travel for potentially extended periods.
