Position Overview

The Security Dispatcher plays a vital role in maintaining efficient communication between management, field security officers, and clients. This position requires quick thinking, excellent multitasking abilities, and a strong sense of responsibility. The ideal candidate will remain calm under pressure, provide clear direction, and handle all calls and reports with professionalism and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and dispatch security officers to various client sites and patrol locations.
  • Maintain constant communication with field personnel to ensure coverage and safety.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Record and document all calls, incidents, and officer activity in detailed reports.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and management to address staffing or operational needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service when communicating with clients and the public.
  • Support overall security operations through effective communication and organization.

Job Requirements

  • Licensing: Possession of a valid Nevada PILB security license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or dispatch operations is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with radios, dispatch software, or basic computer systems (preferred).
  • Professionalism: Must demonstrate reliability, integrity, and a commitment to the company's high service standards.
