We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and customer-focused Local Dispatcher & Logistics Coordinator to join our growing relocation and transportation team. This position plays a vital role in coordinating daily operations, supporting field crews, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.

As a key member of our operations team, you will manage daily scheduling and dispatch activities, communicate with customers and crews, monitor job progress, resolve operational challenges, and help maintain a high level of service throughout every move. Success in this role requires strong leadership, sound decision-making, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Operations Coordination

  • Schedule and dispatch crews, vehicles, equipment, and materials to meet daily operational needs
  • Monitor job progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as necessary
  • Maintain continuous communication with crew leaders regarding job status, customer concerns, delays, and operational updates
  • Ensure all jobs are properly staffed and equipped for successful completion
  • Assist in coordinating local and long-distance household goods moves

Customer & Crew Support

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and field personnel
  • Communicate job information, updates, and expectations clearly and professionally
  • Support crews with operational questions, scheduling concerns, and problem resolution
  • Promote a positive customer experience through timely communication and effective service recovery

Quality Control & Accountability

  • Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, appearance, and adherence to company policies
