Overview:

The Sr. Field Operations Manager is responsible for managing all operational functions at a large branch or multiple branches within one area.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct oversight of managers, supervisors, dispatchers/routers, service technicians, pick up & delivery drivers, yard personnel, fence crew(s), and shop
  • Review of all paperwork including manifests, routing tickets, DVIRs, etc. for completion and accuracy
  • Monitor all service levels and deliveries to ensure the best efficiencies. Recommend measures to improve operational practices and quality of customer care
  • Work directly with other departments to ensure excellent/positive communication within the region
  • Work with various departments to resolve customer service & delivery issues. Work with Operations Managers at other branches to coordinate asset transfers
  • Maintain proper staffing levels to meet and exceed customer and branch needs
  • Analyze and report on operational activities, i.e., service levels, routing efficiency, labor & overtime, and fuel
  • Work with the Area Manager and Regional Vice President to develop and implement standard practices and efficiency recommendations for assigned branch(es)
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to operations managers
  • Responsible for fleet DOT administration including, log books & record maintenance
  • Review and approve e-time punches prior to submitting for payroll processing. Review and approve time off request forms and schedule time off based on operational necessity where necessary
  • Responsible for manager, supervisor, and employee development & conducting periodic performance reviews
  • Create and maintain a positive, safe, and effective work environment
  • Support the area manager as needed in the strategic planning and execution of organizational initiatives
  • Operate a variety of company vehicles
  • Travel 25-35% between sites and regionally as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $116,200.00 – $174,200.00 / year Pay Transparency Statement: At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications.
