Title: Mobile Crisis Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) | Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)
Job Duties: The Mobile Crisis Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) ensures we are providing safe, effective, and compassionate responses to individuals during a mental crisis. The Mobile Crisis Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) will respond to calls from dispatch involving a mental health crisis in various settings. They will be required to travel to the location of the caller and provide crisis intervention services, including assessing and documenting holds. The Mobile Crisis Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) will also be responsible for the supervision of the Peer Specialist as part of the Mobile Response Team (MRT).
About the Mobile Response Team: The Crestwood Behavioral Health Mobile Response Team (MRT) provides community-based interventions for those experiencing a mental health crisis. Our team is available to deploy into the community to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization. The MRT is staffed by Licensed/Registered Mental Health Counselors and Peer Specialists who can provide services throughout Napa County including residences, parks, shelters, schools, and hospitals. The goal of MRT is to de-escalate the crisis and safely connect individuals with mental health care and resources.
Schedule: On-Call
Qualifications:
  • Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT
  • Current CA driver's license.
  • Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
  • Current CPR and first aid certifications.
  • Knowledge of DBT, WRAP and psychosocial rehabilitation principles preferred.

About the Campus: Crestwood's Crisis Stabilization Unit is a program that is based in a recovery-focused environment where children, adolescents and adults in crisis are welcomed into a calm, warm, compassionate environment so that they may be assessed and provided mental health stabilization services, medication evaluation, management and linkages to a wide-range of outpatient and inpatient mental health services.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.
