We are hiring multiple Junior Associate Producers to support S&S Maverick Audio in all aspects of production. Excellent writing & communications skills are essential, as is a love of books & audio.
The JR AP assists in the production of S&S audiobooks, including preparation for recording sessions, script review, research and pronunciations, and coordination of authors, actors, and freelance production staff. The JR AP will support senior staff throughout pre-production and recording, as well as during the post-production process. The JR AP will also be involved in casting, the coordination of manuscripts, credits, schedule management, post-production file management and deadline tracking. Candidates must be able to maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • College degree necessary.
  • Administrative experience in publishing and/or creative production is preferred.
  • Must be proficient with computers, both Macs and PCs, database programs, Excel, Acrobat, and file formatting.
  • Must also be detail-oriented, highly organized, and a careful and thorough reader.
  • Technical familiarity with audio file formats is a plus.

This is a hybrid role, based out of NYC.
