Job description

The Role
As a Service Coordinator at AMS, you're the operational backbone of our Nashville service team. Out of our beautiful Nashville, TN facility, you'll handle invoicing and dispatch, scheduling HVAC/R technicians to service appointments while ensuring prompt, accurate customer service and excellent employee relations.
You'll create and forecast schedules to meet all customer needs, engage and motivate technicians to optimize performance and achieve goals, and manage daily invoicing alongside procurement assistance for service-related jobs. The role also includes working accounts receivable to help obtain payments and performing general administrative and clerical functions to keep the office running smoothly. As an employee-owned company, the service you coordinate is service you share in, with Quality, Integrity, Reliability built into every appointment.
What You'll Own
  • Dispatch HVAC/R technicians to service appointments.
  • Engage technicians to ensure performance is optimized.
  • Daily invoicing.
  • Lead and motivate the technicians to achieve goals.
  • Schedule customer appointments and ensure arrival within scheduled windows.
  • Create and forecast a schedule to ensure we meet all customer needs.
  • Cross-train job duties with fellow employees.
  • Work accounts receivable to help obtain payments.
  • Procurement assistance with service-related jobs.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical functions such as copying, printing, scanning, filing, and faxing.

What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization and leadership skills.
  • Experience in data entry (3-5 years).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Exceptional people and diplomacy skills necessary to successfully resolve all customer concerns and internal challenges.
