Job description

  • We are hiring immediately for full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR (DISPATCH) positions.
  • Location: Baptist Health Little Rock - 9601 Baptist Health Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. Further details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Prior housekeeping and supervisory experience in a fast paced enviroment required. As the Dispatch Supervisor, your daily responsibilities also include:
    • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges using EPIC Bedboard.
    • Monitor bed status and EVS room turnover to maximize bed availability.
    • Communicate with Nursing, Admissions, Transport, and EVS teams to support patient flow.
    • Maintain accurate bed tracking and patient movement data in EPIC.
    • Prioritize multiple requests while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Fixed Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary
Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
  • Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
  • Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
  • Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
  • May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
