WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups, and serving as the primary point of contact between drivers, customers, and internal departments. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to maintain efficient operations and provide exceptional customer service.A HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR DAY TO DAY WILL INCLUDE
  • Coordinate and schedule daily deliveries and pickups.
  • Monitor delivery routes and drivers progress to ensure on-time service.
  • Handle delivery issues, delays, and schedule changes as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal staff to resolve problems quickly.
  • Update dispatch schedules and maintain accurate records in the dispatch management system.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding delivery status and service requests.
  • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure orders are prepared and dispatched on time.
  • Ensure drivers have the necessary paperwork, route information, and equipment.
  • Track and report delivery performance, delays, and operational issues.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation procedures.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and reporting as needed.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of dispatch, logistics, transportation, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize changing demands.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and dispatch/logistics software.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, recognizing that dependable performance is essential to ensuring uninterrupted dispatch operations and supporting drivers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. 
  • Knowledge of routing and scheduling practices. 
  • Experience with GPS tracking and transportation management systems (TMS). 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with customers, drivers, and team members.

Work Environment 

  • Office-based position with dust and dirt and require frequent communication by phone and email.
  • May require occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs.
This position will be based in Fontana, CA through 2026. In 2027, the role may transition to Lancaster, CA to support operations at our newly opened manufacturing facility. Candidates should be willing and able to relocate or commute to Lancaster if leadership request.
