Job Overview
We are currently seeking a talented Lube Technician with an active CDL A or B to work a swing shift to support customers out in the field. The starting hours range from 2:30 - 7PM, and could switch to 6PM - 3AM depending on customer needs, which comes with a shift differential. In this position you will be in a truck at customer sites changing oil and fluids, and taking hydraulic samples. You'll also do visual inspections of the heavy equipment.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Performing machine system oil and filter changes
  • Taking fluid samples per predetermined schedules
  • Lubricating moving parts on the machinery
  • Performing daily maintenance checks on heavy equipment, including fluid checks, grease/lube points, and inspections to avoid unnecessary downtime
  • Checking and filling other fluid reservoirs such as hydraulic systems, coolant systems, brake systems and washer fluid
  • Cleaning machinery cabs, glass and mirrors
  • Documenting work performed in CDK system
  • Communicating with the parts department to obtain parts needed
  • Completing all DOT paperwork daily
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of fuel, oil, filters, etc.
  • Performing visual inspections on machines and reporting conditions/deficiencies.
  • Complying with all safety and environmental requirements

Qualifications/Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Active CDL A or B required
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work.
