Join our creative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Visual Designer! You'll contribute to delivering compelling visual content that supports our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this position, you'll create and adapt sophisticated design assets across multiple platforms, from digital marketing to print materials, ensuring brand consistency and visual excellence throughout. Examples include emails, brochure layouts, web banners, and campaign creative.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform concepts into impactful visual stories that engage our audiences and drive results. This role offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, from motion graphics and video content to marketing collateral and digital assets, while contributing to meaningful scientific advancement on a global scale.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA. Relocation assistance is NOT provided. 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. 
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.


REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience with emphasis on design (instead of research or usability evaluations.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in graphic design, video editing, or production design
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• Experience with Figma highly desired
• Demonstrated ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple platforms
• Experience optimizing content for various digital channels and social media
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines
• Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Knowledge of current design trends and best practices
• Experience with project management tools and workflows
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
• Strong organizational skills and proactive work ethic
• Portfolio demonstrating creative capabilities required
