Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Missouri Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start.
  • Required experience: Inpatient rehabilitation and/or acute care experience. Candidates must have prior experience treating stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, amputations, or complex orthopedic patients in an inpatient rehab or acute hospital setting.
  • Experience with inpatient rehab equipment and settings, including patient lifts, monitored rooms, specialized beds, and use of high-tech therapy devices preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Preferred: CARF or Joint Commission accredited facility experience and familiarity with stroke care units and brain-injury protocols.

  • Facility type: Hospital (inpatient rehabilitation focus).

  • Shift hours: 07:00–16:30.
