Network Analyst
Location: Remote (Houston, TX) with 50%+ Travel
Contract
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Network Analyst to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise network systems. This role focuses on network design, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and 24/7 operational support in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, implement, and maintain enterprise networks (Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, Meraki Wireless, ISE, A10 Load Balancers)
  • Monitor and optimize network performance using tools such as WhatsUp, MRTG, DNA Center, Thousand Eyes, FMC
  • Provide network troubleshooting, fault management, and customer support
  • Manage network inventory, cabling, internet connectivity, and remote access
  • Support UNIX/Linux/Windows environments and maintain logs/scripts
  • Participate in on-call rotations, after-hours support, and change control
  • Design and document network policies, procedures, and architecture
  • Support audits, disaster recovery activities, and compliance requirements
  • Train and mentor junior team members

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of enterprise-level Cisco routing/switching experience
  • Strong TCP/IP knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and DHCP
  • Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Windows environments
  • Ability to obtain NERC CIP certification
  • Willingness to travel extensively and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • CCNA certification
  • Experience with SD-WAN, VoIP, Netscout, load balancers, and scripting
  • Data center design and disaster recovery experience

Additional Skills:
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
