At ServiceMaster Restore, we respond when homes and businesses face water, fire, smoke, and storm damage. Our mission is simple: restore property — and peace of mind. We are hiring a skilled and motivated Restoration Technician to perform mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who works well under pressure, values craftsmanship, and understands the importance of customer care during stressful loss situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke mitigation
  • Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers)
  • Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materials
  • Clean, sanitize, and restore structural materials and contents
  • Take moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging tools
  • Document job progress with photos and mobile job management software
  • Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites
  • Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team members
  • Follow OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response services
Qualifications

  • Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, general labor, or skilled trades preferred
