Job description

THE AUXILIARY ENTERPRISES AND SERVICES AREA ANNOUNCES A PART-TIME OPENING
POSITION: Event Support Specialist (Part-Time)
Description of Duties: The Part-Time Event Support Specialist will assist the Event Services office with venue setup, including arranging chairs, tables, stages, and other furniture required for events. Additional responsibilities include supporting audiovisual needs and monitoring events during evenings and weekends. This position may also involve working at the Student Union information desk, particularly at the start of a semester when additional support is needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, and training will be provided.
This is a part-time, hourly position with variable work hours, averaging 15 to 20 hours per week. The role primarily requires availability during evenings and weekends, although occasional weekday shifts (Monday to Friday) may also be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma.
Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour
An unofficial degree conferring transcripts must be received by this office for formal consideration; however, should an offer of employment be extended, official transcripts are required.
All finalists may be subject to a background check and/or drug test.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
