VA Disability Nurse Practitioner – Fairfax, VA

Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform VA Disability Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for U.S. Veterans in Fairfax, VA. This clinic-based role focuses on structured medical evaluations and clear documentation rather than treatment or ongoing patient management.

The VA Disability Nurse Practitioner – Fairfax, VA position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You'll review medical histories, conduct in-person assessments, and document objective findings that support the VA disability claims process.

This is an evaluation-only role with no prescribing, treatment, call, nights, or weekends. The predictable weekday schedule and focused clinical workflow allow you to concentrate on assessments and documentation.

Position Details

  • Location: Fairfax, VA
  • Facility Type: Outpatient VA Disability Evaluation Clinic
  • Schedule: 1 day/week;  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

This is an evaluation-only role. There is no prescribing, treatment, ongoing patient management, or follow-up care.

  • Active Iowa state APRN license required.
