Job description

General Information This is professional legal work in providing counsel to the employing jurisdiction and those acting on behalf of the jurisdiction in areas of governmental, municipal, real property, and other relevant areas of law. Jurisdiction Starting Salary Mobile County $78,804 - $84,852 Requirements Minimum Qualification Requirements: Attainment of a minimum Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited school of law and a minimum of one year experience as a practicing attorney performing legal work, preferably in governmental or municipal law; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements. Special Requirements: Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama and must possess or obtain admission to practice in the Southern District of Alabama within 6 months of employment.
