Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient receiving processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
  • Accurately record received goods into the ERP system.
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Resolve discrepancies between received goods and purchase orders.
  • Maintain organized and accurate receiving records.
  • Prepare and process receiving documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding receiving issues.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
  • Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and inventory tracking.
  • Perform lifting tasks as required.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized receiving area.
  • As a Receiving Clerk you will work closely with other departments.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems for inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of receiving and inventory control procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform accurate inventory cycle counts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.
