Job Description

We have an opportunity in beautiful Prince George, British Columbia. Reporting to the Resource Manager, the successful candidate will be primarily accountable for invoice entry.

Job Responsibilities

Finance responsibilities:
o    Data Entry of vendor invoices, reviewing the purchases for multiple locations from multiple vendors, validating data as required 
o    Work with vendors to ensure data is reported accurately and timely
o    Verify that transactions comply with the financial policies and procedures
o    Work with Aramark Accounts Payable, to ensure that payments are entered in accordance with the company’s guidelines and processed in timely manner to avoid financial penalties
o    Submit reports as required according to company and business guidelines

Office responsibilities:
o    Support the daily office functions such as ordering supplies and picking up mail etc.
o    Performs special projects as assigned.

Functional Responsibilities:
o    Support the billing function by printing invoices/ financial spreadsheets etc. and scanning and sending billing related information as requested.
o    Provides query support to operations as required
o    Manage other vendor and client inquiries as necessary

Qualifications

o    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
o    Experience with basic accounting, 1 year business certificate preferred
o    Strong oral and written communication skills are required 
o    Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with others 
o    Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, with strong organizational skills are necessary 
o    Prior experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment is required
o    Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills, accuracy, attention to detail and an ability to work independently
o    Analytical and problem solving skills is an asset 
o    Strong time management and prioritization skills
