Job description

Activities Director Needed- Join Our Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Team!

A leading skilled nursing center in the Daytona Beach is seeking an Activities Director to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the Activity Programs in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the emotional, recreational and social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis.

Qualifications:

·        Must have at least two years’ experience within the last five years as a long-term care activity director or previous work experience of one year under a certified activity consultant.

·       Must have the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals (MEPAP) certification

·       Completion of High School or GED

·       Must be at least 18 years of age.

·       Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written communication.

·       Must speak and understand English.

·       Patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly.
