Are you a visionary veterinary leader ready to make a lasting impact? At Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (NIVES), we are seeking a Medical Director to guide our collaborative, expert-driven, and patient-focused hospital into its next chapter of excellence.
Located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, NIVES is more than just a hospital. It's one of the largest specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals in the state, serving pets and their families throughout northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio, and southern Michigan. As our Medical Director, you'll have the unique opportunity to combine clinical excellence with strategic leadership while shaping the future of a thriving, multi-specialty practice. NIVES has been providing exceptional specialty and emergency care for more than 20 years and is AAHA-accredited and the only VECCS Level II Certified veterinary critical care facility in Indiana.

Qualifications
We're looking for a leader who is committed to clinical excellence and team development. Ideal candidates will have:
- Board certification or residency training in a recognized AVMA veterinary specialty
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or medical management experience preferred
- A passion for fostering collaboration, professional growth, and exceptional patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to building relationships with colleagues and the referring veterinary community
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the state of Indiana
