Marine Licensed Mates - Glacier Fish Vessel - Free Room and Board - Up to $185,000/year - Accommodations Provided - Seattle, WA

Glacier Fish Company is seeking Licensed Mates to join their at-sea processing vessels operating in the Bering Sea and Pacific Ocean. These roles are critical for the safe navigation and operation of large factory trawlers, ensuring both crew safety and compliance with maritime regulations. Ideal candidates are experienced mariners with strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

What You’ll Need
  • Coast Guard License Uninspected Fishing Industry Vessel license (1600 GT or 4555 GT depending on vessel)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience fishing onboard H&G vessels in Alaskan waters
  • Ability to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week in all weather conditions
  • Ability to understand instructions and safety rules in English
  • Physical ability to board/exit vessel, climb ladders and stairs, and share living spaces
  • Willingness to be away from land-based medical attention for up to 3 months
