Job description

About Abode Money

Abode Money is the first-ever AI financial home manager, using AI to save homeowners on property taxes, insurance, mortgage and more. Homeowners spend $2T+ per year on their home. Not only is it difficult to buy a home today, but it’s become just as challenging to continue owning your home. We’re going to be the first to create a relationship with 80M+ homeowners in the US by saving them money year after year.

We’ve raised $23M from Permanent Capital, Drive Capital, Sequoia, Core VC and The 81 Collection.

The Role

We're hiring a Growth Lead to drive demand and top-of-funnel user acquisition across paid and organic. Abode Money is the first and only company with the ability to lower property taxes for homeowners in all 50 states, and your primary goal is to make 85M homeowners aware of who we are and what we can do.

You’ll move between paid and organic based on where the opportunity is. Some weeks that’s testing new paid channels and angles, others it’s an organic or referral play. Your job is to find what brings in new users efficiently and do more of it.

You reach for the data before the opinion. You can look at a funnel and find the leak, you run clean experiments, and you don’t trust a number you haven’t checked. That rigor is the reason we’re hiring you, more than any single channel.

You're hungry and curious. You dig into problems because you want to understand them, and you pick up new channels fast.

You’ll work with our VP of Growth on strategy and priorities, and with our Head of Creative Strategy on what to test and make. A specialist media buyer runs the deep paid channel work, so you can focus on finding and scaling what works.

You should use AI to move faster on analysis, reporting, and building your own tools. The bar is simple: more of the right users, more efficiently, every month.

What You’ll Do
  • Own Top-of-Funnel Growth: Drive top-of-funnel growth across paid and organic, finding the channels and plays that bring in new users efficiently.

  • Run Experiments End to End: Own the full experiment cycle—hypothesis, setup, clean readout, and the next test.

  • Flex Across Channels: Move between paid and organic based on where the opportunity is, from new paid channels to organic and referral plays.

  • Own Measurement & Attribution: Own measurement and attribution for your initiatives so you know what’s actually working.

  • Partner on Creative: Partner with the Head of Creative Strategy on what to test—they own creative, you bring the data and the demand-side view.

  • Work with a Media Buyer: Work with a specialist media buyer on deep paid channel execution.

  • Report Weekly: Report weekly on what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next.

Who You Are
  • Reach for the data before the opinion. You run clean experiments and can find the leak in a funnel

  • Are hungry, curious, and self-directed

  • Have driven user acquisition across more than one channel, paid or organic

  • Can switch context without losing the thread, from a paid test to an organic play

  • Use AI to move faster on analysis, reporting, and building your own tools

  • Move fast with a high bar. Sloppy setups and dirty tracking bother you

  • Learn channels fast and don’t need to be the expert on day one

Basic Qualifications
  • Have driven top-of-funnel growth or user acquisition, with real results you can point to

  • Strong analytical skills. Comfortable pulling and interpreting your own data, and using AI to do it faster. Bonus if you’ve used Mixpanel, PostHog, or built your own reporting tools with Claude or similar

  • Based in Austin and able to work onsite

  • Bonus: hands-on experience running paid on Meta or Google.

Our Core Values

The biggest thing we pride ourselves on is autonomy. You can’t move fast through committee decision-making, so we hire people who want to own workstreams outright. Take ownership. This is yours. We build everything through single-threaded autonomy. One person owns the outcome, makes the calls, and sees it through. We believe in “asking for forgiveness, not permission” so you can make unencumbered decisions. Move fast. Decide. Ship. Learn. Repeat. Speed is our edge. Perfection is the enemy of momentum. We will forever move faster than our competition. Be resourceful. Find ways to do more with less. Constraints don’t slow us down. They make us inventive. There’s always a way through, and the people who own their work find it. “That’s not my job” isn’t a sentence anyone here finishes. Think big and challenge convention. Dare to do things differently. You don’t change the world with incrementally better solutions. The systems we’re fixing are broken because everyone accepted them. We question the default, build the better answer, and refuse to blend in. Measure everything. Data is the tiebreaker. We turn instincts into evidence, hunches into experiments, and opinions into numbers. If we can measure it, we can beat it.

Compensation

$140,000 - $175,000 base, plus equity
