Job description

What the role actually is

Serve Robotics is hiring a director of product for its Autonomy Data Flywheel. The product covers data offload, data infrastructure, training, testing, validation, and the internal workflows that help autonomy teams learn from a large deployed sidewalk delivery fleet.

The role is internal-platform product management for real-world robot data. It serves End-to-End AI, perception, safety, operations, IT, and other teams that need data quality, diversity, and coverage to improve model performance.

What you would work on
  • Build and drive the roadmap for Serve's Autonomy Data Flywheel
  • Define requirements for teams consuming robot data across AI, perception, safety, and validation
  • Set quality, quantity, and data diversity metrics for sidewalk operating domains
  • Coordinate product work across engineering, operations, IT, and autonomy stakeholders
What they are asking for
  • Product leadership experience for data platforms, ML infrastructure, autonomy, robotics, or operationally complex systems
  • Ability to turn engineering needs into roadmap priorities and measurable product outcomes
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across AI, perception, safety, operations, and infrastructure teams
  • Comfort reasoning about deployed robot data, model improvement loops, and validation workflows
Why this one is worth a look

Serve has an unusually concrete data problem: lots of robots moving through messy city environments, creating the raw material for better autonomy. The product challenge is making that data usable, representative, and timely enough to feed model improvement instead of becoming operational sludge.
