Job description

Weston & Sampson is currently looking for Structural Engineers with 0 - 4 years of experience with a passion for working on projects, designing buildings and bridge structures. The candidates will be required to work closely with a Project Manager to complete assignments. And will be an active participant on a project team to complete specific projects and serve clients. This position is located out of our Boston, MA office.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform structural calculations
  • Develop design plans, specifications and cost estimates; and other support services as needed
  • Perform field assessments of existing structures
  • Assist with construction administration and observation of a variety of structural projects
  • Perform structural related tasks for other internal disciplines or groups as well as our external client base

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration
  • EIT is a preferred but not required
  • AutoCAD, REVIT and/or Microstation computer skills
  • Experience with structural software packages is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication and technical skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
