Job Description Job Description Salary: Position Summary: This position will provide assistance to our engineering team with mapping, load analysis, and GPS-related tasks. This internship provides hands-on experience in electrical engineering applications, field data collection, and analytical assessments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1.

Assist in mapping electrical infrastructure using specialized software. 2. Utilize GPS technology to collect and verify location data for engineering projects.

3. Support engineers and staking technicians in data collection, load analysis, processing, and reporting. 4.

Assist with field inspections to gather real-world data for analysis. 5. Responsible for compliance with the Cooperative's safety rules, policies, and procedures.

6. Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance. 7.

In addition to these responsibilities, may be assigned by the Director of Engineering and Technical Services to perform other duties from time to time. Education: Current high school or college student. Experience and Job Knowledge: No prior experience or job knowledge is required.

Abilities and Skills: 1. Must be able to communicate in English, both in written and oral forms with the general public and co-workers. 2.

Must be able to lift/move 50 pounds as necessary, without external assistance of personnel or mechanical aids. 3. Must be able to use office equipment such as a copier, facsimile, computer, and printer.

4. Must be able to walk distances up to one mile in uneven terrain. Working Environment: Work will primarily be performed within a climate-controlled office setting.

Some tasks may require working in various field locations alongside our field staking technicians or electrical engineer. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position. This position will work less than 30 hours per week with flexible hours, between 8:00 a.m.

and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
