Status: Full-time
Summary:
Hard Rock Stadium's Set Up Crew plays a critical role in transforming the venue for Miami Dolphins games, University of Miami football, concerts, international soccer matches, and other world-class events. As a full-time Set Up Crew Member, you'll play a key role in daily stadium operations, lead part-time crew members, and execute event conversions that bring each event to life. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that directly contributes to creating exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and fans.
Location:
  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute all stadium and event setup and teardown operations, including seating systems, crowd control barricades, signage installation, and event-related equipment deployment.
  • Support large-scale venue conversions for NFL and Collegiate games, concerts, international soccer matches, and other major special events.
  • Safely operate forklifts, utility vehicles, golf carts, and a variety of hand and power tools to complete operational assignments.
  • Provide direction and oversight to part-time event staff, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Senior Set Up Supervisor and Stadium Operations leadership to execute event plans and operational objectives.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and serve as a positive representative of Hard Rock Stadium when interacting with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and guests.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges in real time through effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
  • Perform duties in both indoor and outdoor environments while adapting to changing weather conditions and event demands.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while fostering a culture of accountability, reliability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, extended event days (up to 16 hours), and overnight event conversions
  • Experience performing physical labor and operating hand and power tools preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic with a demonstrated record of reliability, punctuality, and accountability.
  • Ability to remain positive, adaptable, and productive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and collaborate with part-time staff in a professional manner.
