What You Will Do:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for directing and managing projects from beginning to the end for specific scopes of workbyplanning, design, execution, monitoring,controllingand overall closure of residential projects.
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Reviewscriticalpath, manage changes in project scope,identifypotential issues, and devise contingency plans and quickly adapting or accelerating project to meet deadlines.
Draftsand submitsbudget proposals andrecommendsubsequent budget changes.
Drafts and coordinates detailed scopes for work for bid packages and contract awards.
Plansand schedulesproject timelines and milestones usingappropriate tools.
Developsand deliversprogress reports, proposals,requirementsdocumentation, and presentations.
Design reviews forefficienciesand schedule improvements.
Determinesthe frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Definesproject success criteria anddisseminatethem to involvedparties throughoutprojectlife cycle.
Overseesproject team including Project Coordinators, Superintendents and Project Engineers.
Coaches, mentors,motivatesand supervisesproject team members and contractors, andinfluencethem to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
What You Bring:
5-7 years of experience as a Project/Development Manager
Associate's degreeor higher in Project Management or related fieldrequired
Demonstrated knowledge of construction and building codesrequired
Proficiencyin MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows,BlueBeam
Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate a department with five or moreemployees
Demonstrated ability to effectively run a department in an efficientmanner
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret prints, architectural drawings, financial and job costreports
Ability to respond to common inquiries or clarifications from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the businesscommunity
Excellent knowledge of the industry and trendsimpactingthe business
Excellent customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
