The Project Manager's role is to plan, execute, andfinalizeprojects including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultantsin order todeliver projects according to the plan.The Project Manager defines the project'sobjectivesandoverseequality control throughout its life cycle as well as responsible for outlining and implementing a project documentation and communication controlprogram.

What You Will Do:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for directing and managing projects from beginning to the end for specific scopes of workbyplanning, design, execution, monitoring,controllingand overall closure of residential projects.

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Reviewscriticalpath, manage changes in project scope,identifypotential issues, and devise contingency plans and quickly adapting or accelerating project to meet deadlines.

  • Draftsand submitsbudget proposals andrecommendsubsequent budget changes.

  • Drafts and coordinates detailed scopes for work for bid packages and contract awards.

  • Plansand schedulesproject timelines and milestones usingappropriate tools.

  • Developsand deliversprogress reports, proposals,requirementsdocumentation, and presentations.

  • Design reviews forefficienciesand schedule improvements.

  • Determinesthe frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.

  • Definesproject success criteria anddisseminatethem to involvedparties throughoutprojectlife cycle.

  • Overseesproject team including Project Coordinators, Superintendents and Project Engineers.

  • Coaches, mentors,motivatesand supervisesproject team members and contractors, andinfluencethem to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

What You Bring:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Project/Development Manager

  • Associate's degreeor higher in Project Management or related fieldrequired

  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction and building codesrequired

  • Proficiencyin MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows,BlueBeam

  • Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate a department with five or moreemployees

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively run a department in an efficientmanner

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret prints, architectural drawings, financial and job costreports

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or clarifications from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the businesscommunity

  • Excellent knowledge of the industry and trendsimpactingthe business

  • Excellent customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary Range:

$100,000-$140,000
