Introduction

EdgeCortix is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to define and lead the company’s global product marketing strategy at a pivotal stage of growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping EdgeCortix’s market positioning, translating deep technical innovation into compelling business narratives, and driving go-to-market execution across products, partners, industries, and regions.

The Director of Product Marketing will work closely with executive leadership, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and Marketing Communications to establish EdgeCortix as a category leader in next-generation AI infrastructure, from the edge to the cloud.

The ideal candidate will bring a rare combination of technical depth, strategic thinking, and market-facing leadership, with the ability to influence at the executive level while driving execution across a global organization.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and own the company’s global product marketing vision, strategy, and execution.
  • Shape EdgeCortix’s category positioning across edge AI, Generative AI, and emerging Agentic AI systems.
  • Serve as a key member of the commercial leadership team, advising on market strategy, product direction, partnerships, and growth priorities.
  • Establish and evolve the company’s messaging architecture, corporate narrative, and product positioning.

Go-to-Market and Growth

  • Lead the global go-to-market strategy for current and future semiconductor and software platforms.
  • Drive product launches, market-entry strategies, and expansion into new industries and geographies.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development to accelerate pipeline growth and support revenue generation.
  • Develop scalable partner and ecosystem messaging to support strategic alliances.
  • Own the development and lifecycle of product marketing materials, including datasheets, solution briefs, presentations, demonstrations, and digital assets that clearly communicate product value to customers and partners.
  • Define and lead the creation of technical and commercial documentation, including user guides, deployment frameworks, reference architectures, and enablement materials that support customer and partner adoption.

Market Intelligence and Positioning

  • Lead competitive intelligence, market segmentation, and customer-insight initiatives.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, translating real-world business and technical requirements into product and messaging strategies.
  • Define and communicate clear differentiation in a highly competitive AI semiconductor market.
  • Lead the company’s analyst-relations strategy and strengthen EdgeCortix’s positioning in key industry reports and market narratives.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering to help influence product-roadmap priorities and market requirements.
  • Align Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and Product teams around a unified market strategy and execution plan.
  • Build and scale a global product marketing function while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning EdgeCortix’s global operations in Japan, the United States, and India.

Executive Communication and Thought Leadership

  • Develop and deliver executive-level messaging, presentations, and narratives for customers, partners, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent EdgeCortix externally as a thought leader at industry events and in media and analyst engagements.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling, and differentiated market stories.

Desired Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree, including an MSEE, MSCS, or MBA, strongly preferred.

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in the semiconductor, AI, cloud, or related deep-technology industries.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Product Marketing or a closely related function.
  • Proven track record of defining category positioning and scaling global go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong technical foundation across hardware, software, and AI/ML systems.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers, OEMs, distributors, and ecosystem partners.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership and global team management.

Preferred Experience

  • Direct experience in AI/ML, edge computing, or data-center infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with NPUs, GPUs, ASICs, and FPGA-based systems.
  • Experience with developer ecosystems, compilers, or AI software stacks.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup or scaling technology organization.
  • Multi-lingual plus: English and Japanese.
