Overview
Assisting the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures. Has basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and the maintenance of it while administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect care during established procedures and sedation for patients.

Has basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and the maintenance of it while administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect care during established procedures and sedation for patients.
Qualifications
Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), EP program graduate, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, or Radiology Technologist Required
Work Experience
  • No experience required Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license Upon Hire Required or
  • If a graduate of RCIS or EP program, Must obtain RCIS/RCES within 24 months Required
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
  • ACLS Upon Hire Required
