RiverTech is looking for a Technical Writer to join our team! You will draft, incorporate, edit, review, and publish approved Satellite Control Network (SCN) Technical Order (TO) Changes to the baseline in support of the operations and maintenance personnel performing the SCN mission. Within the realm of a DoD contract and military standard (MIL-STD) guidelines, you will communicate and coordinate with DSLM project managers, configuration and data managers, engineers, logisticians, drafters, and Government customers to efficiently develop and maintain technical documentation and contractual deliverables. The ideal candidate will need to be adaptable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and be able to balance and organize projects that span several stages of development. Qualifications * US Citizen with eligibility to obtain and maintain Secret clearance. Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing or technical field or equivalent on-the-job documentation experience.Technical Experience: * 3-5 years technical or procedural writing experience.Nice-to-Haves: * Experience with Air Force Technical Orders.
* Familiarity of the Satellite Control Network (SCN).
* Familiarity with engineering drawings.
* Working knowledge of TM-86-01 and TO-00-5-1.
* Experience with Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and Arbortext editor.
