This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role focused on identifying new opportunities, developing winning sales strategies, and leading customers through the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting to proposal development to contract execution. You will collaborate across multiple departments to create tailored solutions that align with customer needs while contributing directly to revenue and margin growth across the business.

The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with strong business development experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to create compelling proposals and presentations that drive customer engagement and long-term partnerships.

Core Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new revenue opportunities within the Critical Power/UPS market.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders.

  • Lead the sales process from initial outreach through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop pricing strategies, service solutions, and customer-specific proposals.

  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of RFP responses, quotations, presentations, bids, and marketing materials.

  • Interpret customer requirements and align Pearce services and capabilities to meet operational and technical needs.

  • Analyze and communicate contractual, technical, and commercial requirements internally to support winning bid strategies.

  • Deliver high-quality customer presentations and communicate Pearce's value proposition effectively to executive-level audiences.

  • Support the development of strategic sales plans to expand market presence and customer base growth.

  • Participate in industry conferences, networking opportunities, and customer-facing events to promote Pearce services and strengthen brand visibility.

  • Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, leadership, and subject matter experts to ensure successful solution development and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity within the Critical Power/UPS sector.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience
  • 5+ years of successful sales, business development, or account management experience, preferably within Critical Power, UPS, electrical infrastructure, telecom, HVAC, generator services, or related technical industries.

  • Proven track record of generating new business, growing revenue, and closing complex sales opportunities.

  • Experience developing and presenting customer proposals, RFP responses, quotations, and sales presentations.

  • Strong ability to communicate company value propositions clearly and effectively through written, verbal, and presentation-based communication.

  • Demonstrated success working within cross-functional and multi-division environments while partnering with executives, operations teams, finance, and technical subject matter experts.

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage customer discussions through contract closure.

  • Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into strategic service solutions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated, charismatic, and proactive professional with strong organizational and relationship-building skills.

  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote environment while collaborating across multiple time zones.

  • Experience participating in industry events, networking, and customer engagement activities preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, proposal development tools, and sales reporting platforms preferred.

  • Must live close to San Francisco and Northern Virginia
