This position is fully remote, allowing you to work comfortably from home while maintaining a flexible schedule. Our outpatient model enables counselors to engage with clients via teletherapy, ensuring accessibility and convenience for both clients and practitioners. Despite the remote nature of this role, we prioritize team collaboration and support through regular virtual meetings and professional development opportunities.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, customizing approaches based on the specific needs and circumstances of each client.
• Monitor and document treatment progress, objectives, and outcomes in a timely and organized manner using designated electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals—such as psychiatrists and medical staff—to develop integrated treatment plans for clients receiving care in multiple sectors.
• Provide valuable support and guidance to caregivers facing behavioral challenges, equipping them with practical strategies to foster healthier home environments.
• Participate actively in case consultations, sharing insights and feedback with colleagues to enhance collective clinical practices.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Balance & Harmony, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and family dynamics. Our commitment to inclusivity ensures that you will help clients from different backgrounds and experiences, contributing to a richer understanding of mental health in a multicultural context.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• Must possess a current and valid LMHC license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Strong understanding of how pharmacological treatments interact with therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• A commitment to ethical practices and ongoing professional development.

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or relevant field is preferred.
• At least two years of experience providing direct counseling services in mental health settings.
• Holding additional certifications or specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care or cognitive-behavioral therapy is advantageous.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
