Location: Park Forest
Compensation: 80,000-95,000
Schedule: Full-time (includes some evening/weekend on-call responsibilities)

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Crisis Program Director to lead our Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) program. This role is responsible for overseeing program operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality, responsive crisis services across the community.

You’ll play a key leadership role—managing program performance, supporting clinical staff, and building partnerships with community providers. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines team management, program development, and direct involvement in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and oversee daily operations of the Mobile Crisis Response program
  • Supervise Program Coordinators and direct service staff
  • Ensure compliance with all program standards, contracts, and agency policies
  • Support program development and expansion of services

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to Program Coordinators and team members
  • Lead team meetings and provide ongoing training and support
  • Participate in hiring, performance management, and staff development

Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with community providers and stakeholders
  • Support outreach efforts and community presentations
  • Develop and maintain resource networks for youth and families

Service Delivery & Oversight

  • Oversee scheduling and coordination of crisis response services (daytime and after-hours)
  • Participate in on-call rotation for crisis consultation (evenings/weekends)
  • Ensure accurate documentation, billing, and reporting across the team

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling,
  • Active clinical license required (LCSW or LCPC)
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience working with youth and families in crisis settings preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
