Job Description

Position: Sr .NET Developer/Lead
Duration: 11 Months Contract To Hire
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL

  • This position is responsible for design, development, both new implementations/new functionality of client's implementations.
  • This position requires hands-on expertise in both development to ensure the applications remain aligned with business requirements and also offers recommendations and best practices for process integration, application development, and ongoing enhancements.
  • The primary stakeholders that the position is expected to interact with include business users, technology managers, directors and business architects.

Job Profile/Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong .NET Development skills
  • Experience with any messaging technology (MSMQ, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, etc.)
  • Strong written communication skills, especially for knowledge transfer documentation for support
  • Strong in .NET C#, especially WebAPI and Windows Services
  • (Nice to have) experience with cloud vendors, such as Amazon, Azure, etc.
  • (Nice to have) experience with infrastructure build automation technologies, such as Chef
  • (Nice to have) MongoDB experience
  • Technically aware and keeps up to date on current technology trends (in particular as related to the cloud, Portal, and Collaboration).
  • Proven experience with effective delivery within IT.
  • Candidate must be highly accountable, drives for results and ability to collaborate with groups across ITS and with vendors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required. Ability to work independently and to maintain effective working relationships with vendors, business teams and other IT teams.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology and or/integrating diverse technology applications.
  • Experience managing a high volume work load.
  • Ability to present and translate highly technical capabilities to business in a way to gain understanding and to conceptualize business value, develop technical presentations, document technical detailed design.
  • Experience in establishing best practices, procedures and enforcing governance.
