Heritage Care Center – Fairbury, Nebraska

Heritage Care Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated RN to serve as our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Staff Development Coordinator, and Infection Preventionist.

In this role, you will inspire, educate, and support our team members while helping to uphold the highest standards of resident care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide leadership and support to the nursing department as part of the administrative team.
  • Coordinate staff development programs, orientation, and ongoing training for nursing team members.
  • Mentor and coach staff to promote skill development, confidence, and teamwork.
  • Oversee Infection Prevention & Control processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.
  • Assist with quality improvement initiatives and overall clinical operations.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Nebraska (or compact license).
  • Experience in staff development, education, or training is highly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High personal integrity, a caring and positive attitude, and a professional presence.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention practices is beneficial; training may be provided for the right candidate.
