Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY
Annie Aesthetic is one of the fastest-growing private equity platforms in medical aesthetics - a multi-brand, multi-site operating company spanning medspas and functional health clinics across the United States. We acquire best-in-class practices, integrate them into a high-performance operating model, and build them into durable, growing businesses.
We are hiring a Director of Operations to serve as a true business owner across our portfolio. This is not a corporate staff role. The Director of Operations will have direct operational accountability for a subset of portfolio companies, drive cross-brand performance standards, and be a key member on the Annie Aesthetic executive team as we scale.
This role is built for a high-caliber operator - someone coming out of a top MBA program, search fund, or PE-backed operating environment - who is energized by complexity, hungry to own outcomes, and ready to run real businesses at real scale.
ABOUT ANNIE AESTHETIC
Annie Aesthetic is a private equity platform that acquires and operates best-in-class medical aesthetics and functional health businesses across the United States. Our portfolio includes medspa brands and functional health clinics operating across multiple states, with an active pipeline of add-on acquisitions underway.
We take a hands-on, operator-led approach - providing each portfolio company with financial, operational, and strategic resources to drive sustainable, long-term growth. Our team is lean, execution-focused, and deeply embedded in the day-to-day of the businesses we own.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Portfolio Performance & P&L Ownership
  • Own operational and financial performance across a defined set of portfolio companies, with accountability to revenue growth, margin management, and EBITDA outcomes
  • Set and track KPIs across clinic locations; build accountability rhythms with Clinic Managers and brand leadership
  • Partner with the Annie Aesthetic ELT and finance team on reporting, forecasting, and business performance review

Operational Leadership
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple clinic locations and brands - in-person presence expected at key sites
  • Coach and develop Clinic Managers and brand operators, elevating their ability to own their locations and their numbers
  • Build and maintain the meeting cadences, documentation systems, SOPs, and remote management infrastructure that allow the portfolio to scale without heroics

Integration & Acquisitions
  • Lead operational integration of newly acquired clinics into the Annie Aesthetic platform - from onboarding and systems setup to staffing and culture alignment
  • Partner with deal team and finance on diligence, operational modeling, and 100-day planning for new acquisitions

Strategy & Growth
  • Identify and execute growth levers across revenue, client experience, and operational efficiency - including service menu, retention programs, and provider productivity
  • Develop cross-functional project plans and strategic frameworks in partnership with brand founders and the Annie executive team
  • Evaluate and launch new service lines (including functional health) across the portfolio

Vendor & Compliance Management
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships including pharma/clinical suppliers, marketing partners, technology, and facilities across brands
  • Partner with the technology and data team to optimize EMR utilization (Zenoti) and clinical reporting across the portfolio
  • Ensure each clinic maintains full compliance with applicable business licenses, permits, and clinical standards across all operating states

IDEAL PROFILE
We are looking for a driven, humble, and highly capable operator. The strongest candidates will bring:
  • MBA from a top program; search fund, PE-backed operating role, or management consulting background strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of operational experience - ideally in multi-site, M&A-integration, or high-growth environments
  • Demonstrated track record of owning outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with limited resources
  • Strong financial acumen - comfortable owning a P&L and translating numbers into operational decisions
  • Exceptional people leadership skills across all levels of an organization, including clinic-level staff and senior founders
  • Advanced Excel/data skills; EMR, CRM, or other multi-site technology experience is a plus
  • Comfortable traveling to clinic locations; mix of in-person site presence and remote team management is expected
  • Ability to start as soon as possible, but at least within approximately one month of offer

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based bonus tied to portfolio business outcomes
  • Equity participation in the portfolio
  • Health reimbursement plan
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible schedule with autonomy to structure your time around results
  • This role will cover clinics in the Western US. Travel will be roughly 50%.
