At AstraZeneca, we are driven by the opportunity to transform patients' lives through science. We are seeking a Director of Life Cycle Marketing to join our growing Immunology business in a highly visible strategic role supporting the future of our expanding portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned marketing leader who combines strong commercial insight with a passion for innovation, launch excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. As a member of the US Immunology Marketing Leadership Team, you will help shape brand strategy, drive US launch readiness, and translate clinical and scientific opportunity into meaningful commercial impact.
In this role, you will serve as the strategic lead for AstraZeneca's immunology pipeline, with responsibility for shaping brand strategy and US launch readiness efforts for all future formulations and indications for the treatment of Lupus.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, Immunology, you will partner closely with colleagues across US Medical, Commercial, Insights, Operations, and Global teams to ensure successful pre-launch and launch execution across the portfolio.
What you'll do
You will lead the development and execution of pre-launch through commercial launch strategies for new and upcoming indications within the US immunology portfolio. This includes setting strategy, building milestone-based plans, and coordinating key activities across the business to support successful launches.
Your responsibilities will include developing the US brand market plan, shaping HCP commercial strategy, guiding patient journey and engagement planning, and driving insight generation through qualitative and quantitative research with healthcare professionals, patients, and payers. You will also support advisory board development, forecasting, and supply chain readiness.
A key aspect of the role will be serving as the liaison between the US and Global organizations, ensuring plans are aligned, timely, and connected to the broader immunology portfolio strategy. You will also lead recommendations for the go-to-market model, partnering with marketing and field leadership on customer segmentation, field deployment, and execution planning.
Working across a highly matrixed organization, you will collaborate with teams in Marketing, Sales, GPPS, Pricing & Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Operations to deliver integrated and effective launch plans. You will also build and present business cases to support Phase 3, real-world evidence, and post-launch studies, as well as broader commercial investment decisions through insight generation, market analysis, forecasting, and commercial modeling.
In addition, you will represent AstraZeneca at congresses and conferences, helping shape the roadmap for HCP engagement across pipeline assets, while partnering with in-line marketing teams to ensure that key milestones, deliverables, and launch activities are seamlessly integrated across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, including 5+ years in pharmaceutical marketing or a related function such as managed markets, pharmaceutical sales, market research/analytics, strategic planning, or relevant agency experience.
  • Experience supporting or leading work across the pharmaceutical product development-to-commercialization process.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 10-20%.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or a scientific discipline.
  • 4+ Years of immunology experience
  • 2+ years of Rheumatology or Dermatology experience
  • Experience in cross-channel and cross-customer marketing.
  • Experience leading or supporting early brand lifecycle or launch strategy.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience.
