Corporate Director of Food & Beverage

Build the Future of Food & Beverage Across Alaska

This position is based in Anchorage, Alaska. Must be willing to relocate to Anchorage, Alaska. 

JL Hospitality Management is seeking an experienced, innovative, and results-driven Corporate Director of Food & Beverage to lead the strategic direction of our food and beverage operations across a growing portfolio of hotels throughout Alaska. This is an opportunity to shape the future of dining experiences across multiple brands and property types. From full-service seasonal restaurants and lounges to Marriott select-service food and beverage programs, you'll have the opportunity to create portfolio-wide standards, elevate culinary and beverage offerings, drive financial performance, and build a culture of operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Operations, you'll lead a talented team of Executive Chefs, Kitchen Managers, and Food & Beverage Managers while partnering with General Managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences across our portfolio.

What You'll Do

As our Corporate Director of Food & Beverage, you'll:

  • Lead the strategic direction of all food and beverage operations across our Alaska portfolio.
  • Develop standardized culinary and beverage programs that elevate quality, consistency, and profitability.
  • Create innovative beverage concepts and establish company-wide standards for non-Marriott properties.
  • Partner with Executive Chefs and Food & Beverage leaders to enhance menus, service, and guest experiences.
  • Drive financial performance through labor management, menu engineering, purchasing strategies, and cost controls.
  • Negotiate portfolio-wide vendor partnerships and purchasing agreements to maximize value and operational efficiency.
  • Support new hotel openings, acquisitions, renovations, and restaurant concept development.
  • Coach and develop Executive Chefs, Kitchen Managers, and Food & Beverage leaders while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, Marriott brand requirements, and all food safety and alcoholic beverage regulations.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a hospitality leader who brings:

  • 5+ years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience.
  • Multi-property hotel and/or restaurant experience.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, labor, food and beverage costs, and revenue performance.
  • Experience leading Executive Chefs and Food & Beverage leadership teams.
  • Success developing beverage programs, menu strategies, and operational standards.
  • Experience negotiating vendor agreements and leveraging purchasing power.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Anchorage, Alaska.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Alaska.
