Job description

At DeZURIK, safety isn't a program - it's a value. We're looking for a Director of Enterprise Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) who will champion a safety-first culture across our organization while building the systems, standards, and accountability that protect our team members and support operational ownership and execution. This role serves as a resource for safety and operational leadership at multiple locations and requires up to 30% travel to engage with our sites, strengthen relationships, and ensure consistent execution of EHS programs across the enterprise.

In this highly visible leadership role, you'll partner with executive and operations leaders to establish enterprise-wide safety and environmental systems, drive compliance, reduce operational risk, and elevate safety performance. You'll develop standards, reporting platforms, training programs, and governance processes while serving as a trusted advisor to site leaders. Success requires someone who is equally comfortable discussing strategy with senior leadership and walking a manufacturing floor with safety always top of mind.

We're seeking a principled, ethical leader with deep expertise in OSHA, EPA, and manufacturing safety environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to influence others without direct authority. You understand that sustainable safety performance comes from engaged leadership, operational accountability, and practical solutions that protect people while supporting business results.

If you're passionate about protecting people, strengthening environmental stewardship, and building a culture where every team member takes ownership of safety, we'd love to hear from you. Help us continue Powering Progress through Water while ensuring our team members return home safely every day.

DeZURIK offers a competitive base salary in the $111,971 to $139,964 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus opportunities tied to performance.

Beyond pay, our market-leading benefits are designed to support your wellbeing. These include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as short- and long-term disability coverage. DeZURIK also provides a health savings account with company match, a retirement plan for employer contributions through Vanguard, and access to the Granite Assistance Fund for support when it is needed most. We value time for rest and personal growth, offering generous paid time off, including volunteer time off and paid holidays.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or related field.
  • 8-10+ years of progressive safety leadership experience, with 5+ years managing safety programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience leading both safety and environmental compliance programs preferred.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) strongly preferred.

DeZURIK, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities.

Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role.
