Job description

Title: Head of Water/Wastewater

Location: Lititz, PA (preferred, but may consider elsewhere in the Mid Atlantic Region)


  • Summary: Senior Leadership role overseeing all aspects of water and wastewater projects and teams, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and driving innovation. You will oversee W-WW team across multiple offices, Mentor and manage the overall direction of the W-WW team and lift and guide the next level of leaders within the team.

They primarily serve the mid-Atlantic region from six strategically located offices. Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee planning, execution, and completion of projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on complex issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation in treatment processes and technologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the division’s budget.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering required
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience
  • PE licensure (mandatory)
  • Well versed in a combination of water distribution and treatment systems, stormwater or stormwater management, wastewater collection/conveyance, and /or treatment design
  • Knowledgeable in water and sewer modeling software as well as AutoCAD 3D
  • technical skills, and experience with public and private clients.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects, leading a design team, and mentoring less-experienced team members
