About the Position: *This is a non-state service, time-limited position.* Develop, enhance, maintain, and support the Vital Records application and related systems. Monitor system performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with software vendors and development teams. Perform application testing, validate system enhancements, and document defects and recommended improvements. Collaborate with internal staff, external stakeholders, and vendors to gather business requirements, evaluate workflows, and support implementation of system enhancements. Track, document, and communicate issues through the organization's ticketing system. Provide technical support, user training, and guidance to internal staff and external partners. Assist with system implementations, upgrades, documentation, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Participate in meetings with project teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.
What you'll need to be Successful: The successful candidate will be able to analyze business processes, identify system improvements, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively with vendors, developers, and agency staff. The candidate should demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to support software implementation and continuous improvement efforts.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 7-10+ years of IT experience with emphasis in multi-platform hardware and software systems and systems administration.
