Overview:Β The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, planning, and delivering training programs that support the development and success of clients and partners. The Training Specialist will coordinate training documentation and other tools and will create multi-faceted training experiencesΒ to refine content and improve learning initiatives that drive industry expertise and operational success.Β 

Duties and Responsibilities:Β 

  • Develop and implement robust training programs for clients and partners using a variety of training delivery methodsΒ 
  • Create effective training materials, including user guides, job aids, visual aids, etc.Β 
  • Oversee the timely updates of materials, including but not limited to reference guides and online resourcesΒ 
  • Deliver training (both synchronous and asynchronous) for Revenue Cycle Management applications, including end-to-end training and new release training, as needed to clients.Β 
  • Facilitate both small and large customer and partner training sessions, utilizing appropriate training methodologyΒ 
  • Β Provide feedback to management regarding customer and partner learning progressΒ 
  • Leverage metrics and data from assessments, surveys, and 1:1 sessions to identify, communicate, and implement improvements to training programsΒ 
  • Record and edit training sessions, e-learnings, product releases and company meetings. Upload content into the LMS for training useΒ 
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to design and deliver engaging solutions to the sales teamΒ 
  • Other projects and duties as assignedΒ 
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statementΒ 
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the positionΒ

  • Utilizes experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goalsΒ 
  • Ability to efficiently create/adapt training materials to reflect policy and procedure changesΒ 
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Visio.)Β 
  • Intermediate skill level with authoring tools such as; Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate Storyline and Camtasia StudioΒ 
  • Skilled user of CRM applications such as SalesforceΒ 
  • Excellent verbal and written customer service skillset, including the capacity to effectively assess problems and communicate solutionsΒ 
  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to prioritizeΒ 
  • Ability to work independently, assisting others as neededΒ 
  • Proficient knowledge of Healthcare EDI Knowledge (ANSI X12, 835, 837, 270/271) is a plusΒ 
  • Proficient knowledge of HIPPA transaction code set is a plusΒ
