  • Meaningful influence on product execution and operational performance
  • Opportunity to lead and develop a growing team
  • The stability of a fourth-generation family-owned company with over 100 years of success
  • A collaborative, growth-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package

What We Need

Natco Home is seeking a Director of Product Operations to lead the execution of our floor coverings and rugs product portfolio from product setup and factory communication through inventory planning, replenishment, and customer delivery. Reporting directly to the COO, this role works at the intersection of Product Development, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure products are executed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role requires hands-on experience managing the complete product and purchase order lifecycle, including product setup, specification management, vendor and factory communication, packaging requirements, production oversight, inventory planning, supplier relationship management, and customer delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Own operational execution of products throughout the product lifecycle, from product setup through customer delivery
  • Manage the complete purchase order lifecycle, ensuring product specifications, costing, packaging requirements, and inventory parameters are accurately communicated and executed
  • Partner directly with domestic and international manufacturing suppliers to support production, capacity planning, quality standards, and delivery commitments
  • Lead inventory planning and replenishment strategies that support customer demand and retail programs
  • Ensure accuracy of product data, specifications, costing, and ERP records
  • Develop and lead a team responsible for product operations, purchasing, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and vendor management
  • Drive continuous improvement across product execution, inventory management, supplier performance, and operational processes

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Supply Chain, or related disciplines
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams
  • Proven success partnering directly with vendors and factories to manage product specifications, packaging requirements, product execution, and customer purchase order requirements
  • Experience managing products throughout their full lifecycle in a manufacturing or consumer products environment
  • Strong understanding of product specifications, packaging requirements, vendor and factory communication, sourcing, forecasting, inventory planning, and purchase order execution
  • Experience working directly with domestic and overseas manufacturing partners, suppliers, and vendors
  • ERP/MRP proficiency and strong analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills

 Highly Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Product Development, Textiles, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience will be considered
  • Rugs, floor coverings, textiles, home furnishings, soft goods, or consumer products experience
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience
  • Track record of managing complex product portfolios and global supplier relationships
  • Experience supporting large retail customers or national account programs

The Ideal Candidate

You understand that successful product execution extends far beyond purchasing and inventory management. You have experience managing products from setup and specification development through vendor and factory communication, packaging requirements, production oversight, replenishment planning, supplier relationship management, and customer fulfillment. You can confidently translate product requirements into successful manufacturing execution while balancing inventory, customer service, and profitability. You are comfortable leading a team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day execution and problem solving.

This role may not be a fit for candidates whose experience is primarily focused on warehouse management, logistics, or transactional purchasing.
