DIRECTOR OF WELLNESS

About the Role

The Director of Wellness leads the delivery of resident care and wellness services, ensuring compliance, staff development, and exceptional service in alignment with Opal Senior Living standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Wellness Department, including care delivery, compliance, and staffing.

• Develop and maintain individualized service plans for residents in collaboration with families and medical professionals.

• Provide leadership, supervision, and training to nursing and care staff.

• Ensure documentation accuracy, medication management, and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with the Executive Director and other departments to maintain high quality standards of care.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current Med Tech in good standing with the state.

• Minimum two years of nursing experience, preferably in assisted living or long-term care.

• Leadership and supervisory experience strongly preferred.

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move throughout the community, assist residents as needed, and respond quickly in emergency situations.
