Director of Operations – Staffing & Workforce OperationsPosition: Director of OperationsEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and highly driven Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing staffing organization. This role will provide leadership across recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, employee management, and workforce operations while ensuring we consistently meet client staffing needs.The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, comfortable managing multiple priorities at once, and able to lead teams in a fast-paced environment. This position requires someone who can identify problems quickly, create solutions, hold teams accountable, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily staffing and workforce operations across multiple markets and client accountsLead and support Recruiting, Onboarding, Scheduling, and operational support teamsMonitor open job orders and ensure staffing needs are being worked with urgencyManage high-volume staffing projects, new account launches, and last-minute client requestsTrack recruiting progress, employee onboarding, placements, starts, call-offs, and staffing gapsEnsure employees are properly onboarded and compliant before beginning assignmentsOversee scheduling processes and ensure clients receive appropriate staffing coverageMonitor attendance, call-offs, no-call/no-shows, and employee performance concernsPartner with Payroll/Timesheet teams to ensure employee hours are captured and submitted accuratelyEstablish clear expectations, workflows, and accountability across operational teamsDevelop and improve SOPs and internal processesTrack team performance and operational KPIsIdentify operational challenges and implement solutionsHandle escalated client and employee concernsWork closely with Sales and Account Management to ensure successful delivery of new businessCommunicate staffing risks, progress, and operational needs to senior leadershipSupport multiple priorities and make quick decisions in a constantly changing environmentQualifications4+ years of operations leadership experienceStaffing industry experience strongly preferredExperience managing recruiting, scheduling, workforce operations, or high-volume hourly employees preferredStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent organization and follow-throughAbility to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with ATS, scheduling, payroll, or workforce management systems preferredHospitality, events, food service, healthcare, or light industrial staffing experience is a plusWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who takes ownership.
