DescriptionDirector of Operations

The Admiral at the Lake is seeking an experienced and people-focused Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership for our Facilities, Environmental Services (EVS), and Concierge teams. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will foster a hospitality-driven, resident-centered culture while ensuring operational excellence across our vibrant senior living community.

In this role, you will lead department managers, strengthen accountability, improve operational processes, oversee departmental budgets, and enhance the resident experience through exceptional service delivery. You'll partner closely with executive leadership to support organizational priorities, lead change initiatives, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations in a 24/7 community.

What We're Looking For
  • 5-7 years of progressive senior operations leadership experience in senior living, hospitality, residential services, or luxury residential/condominium management.
  • Proven success leading and developing managers while building high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing departmental budgets, operational performance, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred; Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven ability to improve operational processes, workflows, and service standards.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead change initiatives while building strong relationships with residents, staff, and executive leadership.
  • Experience with facilities, environmental services, concierge, or hospitality operations is preferred; hands-on technical facilities experience is not required
