Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Clinical Operations manages the financial and clinical operations of assigned area(s) and recommends qualified competent persons to provide care.  Integrates department services with the hospitalโ€™s primary function.  Coordinates and integrates services within departments.  Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support provisions of services.  Supervises nursing staff and assures staff competency. Develops, markets, implements, and evaluates new services and programs.  Participates in outside source selection for needed services.  Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.  Provides for orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for persons within nursing.  Responsible acting Director for select nursing departments. Assumes the duties of the Associate Nursing Executive or Administrative Coordinator as assigned. 

What qualifications you will need:
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required.
