Position Overview

Investment Performance Associates support portfolio and investment teams by analyzing fund and portfolio performance, calculating returns, and producing timely reporting for internal stakeholders and investors. This role combines quantitative analysis, performance attribution, and portfolio oversight to help monitor investment results and drive informed decision-making.

The position involves close collaboration with portfolio managers, operations, accounting, and risk management teams to ensure accurate measurement and reporting of investment performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate, analyze, and reconcile investment and fund performance across multiple strategies and asset classes

  • Conduct performance attribution to identify key drivers of portfolio returns

  • Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and models for tracking investment performance

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual investment performance reporting for internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with operations, accounting, and portfolio teams to ensure data integrity and timely reporting

  • Assist in P&L tracking, NAV calculation, and reconciliation of investment positions

  • Identify and escalate anomalies, discrepancies, or performance issues

  • Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested by senior management


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field

  • Knowledge of portfolio management, performance measurement, and investment instruments

  • Experience or coursework in investment accounting, performance attribution, or fund analytics

  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or VBA is a plus

  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environments

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
