Position Summary

The Inventory Control Lead will work closely with the Distribution Supervisor and is responsible for leading the distribution center’s inventory control processes, including organizing, counting, and recording warehouse inventory, maintaining accurate records, and reporting and investigating discrepancies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Maintain updated and accurate records of warehouse inventory using inventory software and systems in place

• Lead periodic inventory audits

• Compare records with current counts to find and investigate any discrepancies

• Prepare inventory reports to provide to management

• Ensure best practices are followed by other team members assigned to assist with inventory control

• Enforce safety policies on the floor

• Operate a forklift when necessary

• Other warehouse or administrative duties as assigned

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
